There's a connection...

George Boole, inventor of what we now know as Boolean Algebra and which became the foundation underpinning modern day computing as we know it, Geoff Hinton, one of the so called grandfathers of AI and recently resigned from Google over concerns about AI safety, and myself are all connected. In fairness, my connection to the famous pair is a little more tenuous than their connection to each other. But there is a link. Spoiler alert, this is a fun post, mostly historical, serious investors beware :-)
