Global Semi Sales Decline 2.3% MoM In January

Global semiconductor sales for January 2024 amounted to $47.6 billion, a decrease of 2.1% from the December 2023 total of $48.7 billion.

How should we interpret this latest data? What are the implications for the recovery of the broader semiconductor industry? We address these questions and share our forecast for semiconductor sales growth in 2024 as well as out thoughts on the $1 trillion level being touted for 2030, behind the paywall.
