Now that their client PC business has finally stabilised and is even poised for modest growth, Intel faces an even greater challenge in their data center segment (DCAI). YTD revenues for DCAI are down $3 billion, or 28%, compared to the year ago period. In sharp contrast, AMD’s YTD data centre revenues are down just $200 million or 6% over the same time period.
