On May 29, the two leading US Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors filed reports with the SEC confirming the previously rumoured latest restrictions by the US authorities on the sale of their EDA software in China. Privately held Siemens EDA, the third largest EDA vendor globally, has not issued any statement in relation to this matter.
